Data handling
Your data is a deposit, not an asset of ours.
Unpublished sequencing data is the most sensitive thing a lab hands to an outsider. Here is exactly what we do with it — described as practice, not as a certification claim.
We do not reuse your data
Your data is used for your project only. It is never pooled into a reference, used to build or tune a model, shown in marketing, or shared with another client.
We delete it
Raw data is deleted on request at any time, and by default after the retention window agreed in the quote. Deletion is confirmed in writing.
We sign your NDA
Send your institution's template before you send data. If you do not have one, we provide a mutual NDA.
Access is limited to the project
Only the people working on your project can reach the files, and transfer uses access-controlled links rather than email attachments.
Authorship and credit
We do not claim authorship by default. If the work goes beyond service and into intellectual contribution, that is a conversation, not an assumption.
What we cannot promise
We hold no compliance certification and do not present ourselves as a certified clinical or regulated processor. If your data carries obligations that require one, tell us first — we would rather decline than pretend.
Questions before you send anything?
Ask them first. We would rather answer a data-handling question than receive files we should not have.
